Battle Information

Thanks for showing your interest in the IndieShows Battle of the Bands! Below are the details on how this contest works and how to sign up if you're a band/artist...

The Concept::

This contest works just like a live battle of the bands except, it's not live. Bands enter, fans vote and a winner is chosen based on who gets the most votes. We won't start the voting for a battle unless we have at least 5 bands/artists signed up. Once there are 5 bands/artists then the voting is turned on and will remain on for one week. We will have 5 consecutive battles and the winner from each one will go on to our finals. That of course means that 5 bands/artists will go on to the finals which will last for 4 rounds. Each round, the band/artist with the lowest number of votes after one week will get kicked out until there are only 2 bands/artists left. The final 2 will battle it out for the Championship! The Champion will win 250 FREE band stickers... Now sign up below if you're an artist...

How to Enter::

Entering is simple. But FIRST, we have one request. Before or after you sign-up, to show your support, please join our forum. Ok the begging is over :), now, to enter just compose an e-mail and send it to indieshowsbattle@gmail.com with the following information in the body::

1) Band/Artist Name
2) Song Title
3) Band/Artist Website

Then, attach the following two items::

1) A mp3 (that matches the song title of course)
2) A band/artist photo

That's it! Send it!!

If you get a response back from us stating that we are no longer accepting entries, that is because we can only accept so many entries a month. If we were to allow bands to sign-up any farther in advance, well, that could just get ridicules. An easy well to tell if we're accepting entries or not is to simply check the "Sign-up Status" at the top of this page.
